     Jewish-Catholic Outdoor Wedding Ceremony

I am Jewish and my fiancé is Catholic. We are getting married outdoors by a non-denominational minister. He and his family want the wedding to be recognized by the church. I am open to have a priest at the wedding to do any necessary blessings, but I have heard that it cannot be done if the ceremony is outdoors. How can our wedding be recognized as a sacrament for him and his church? Thanks!

It is true that a Catholic marriage cannot be performed outdoors unless you get special dispensation. Please speak to your priest.
