     Reading personal wedding vows

I am getting married next month (second time) and I would like to say personal vows to my future husband. However, I know I will not be able to remember what I want to say. Is it proper to read them to him?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Sure, it's fine to have the vows written out and probably best. Wedding day jitters may cause you to forget...
