Roman Catholic need to know do you give presents to the altar boys at your wedding?

I was told by one of the ladies in my church that I must give gifts to the altar boys at our wedding if so what are they? and how much this would be rather expensive I would think and I would feel alittle uncomfortrable since my mother is flipping the bill and is a widow in the church.

Check with your church's altar guild or priest to determine their costs and expectations.

Ten to twenty dollars discreetly given in an envelope is usually all that is expected. You can do this, instead of your mother.
