Walking down the aisle

What is the proper way of walking down the aisle - just a normal walk at a slow pace, or the "step with one foot, two feet together, step with other foot, two feet together" type of walk that they do in movies?

Hello Bride to be,

Left foot first and a slower than normal pace but not a crawl.
