When having two maids of honor do they walk down the aisle together?

I have two maids of honor. One is my cousin who has been my best friend while I was growing up, and the other is my college roomate who has ALWAYS been there for me.

My fiance, on the other hand, has only one best man.

How should I work this out during the ceremony? Do the maids of honor walk down the aisle together? If not, how would I ever decide who walks down the aisle first?

This is quite a sticky situation, since my cousin already feels like she is the "lesser" co-maid of honor since she lives so much farther away and can't be there for a lot of the wedding planning.

Thank you !!

Ashleyn,

I would certainly have the two of them walk down they aisle together and have the best man escort both of them out. They can also be announced that way when they enter the reception if you're doing announcements.
