Where does step-mom sit at the wedding ceremony?

My 24 year old step-daughter is getting married in March. I have a close relationship with her and have been married to her father for 18 years. My question is where do I sit at the wedding? Her mother is divorced and will be by herself. Her father is giving her away. A
Thank you.

Dear Step Mother,

Typically you would be sitting in the third row with your husband. Her mother would be sitting in the first row. However, if you and your husband raised the bride, this would be opposite.

There are times when all parents get along fine and they all sit in the first row. This is something the bride and her mother must decide.

Best wishes,
