Do I have to seat my widowed Grandma's "male friend" with her in the second row or can I seat him farther back. I don't want anyone getting the impression that this guy might be my Grandpa. I know that by his not having a boutonniere that most people will realize that he is not family. Thank You.

Re: Where to seat Grandma's wedding date

Dear Scoobydo,
It is not polite to separate a couple at the wedding. They should be seated together. If you mention your grandmother in your program, he would be listed as her escort. Then your guests will know he is not your grandfather.
