Who Seats Father of the Groom

I understand that the Mother of the Bride and the Mother of the Groom are seated by the groomsmen. Who seats the Father of the Groom? Is he seated by the ushers along with our guests?

Actually, the Mother of Groom should be escorted by her husband, if she is married to the Father of the Groom, or an Usher. The Mother of the Bride too should be escorted by an Usher. That does not mean that Groomsmen cannot be escorts. But, when they are, in essence they are pulling double duty which means they might be holding up the processional. Or, when the entire processional can be seen from all sides, it looks busy and unorganized.

To further explain both mothers can be ushered in by a groomsman or by someone special that they specify. The mother of the groom is ushered and the father of the groom walks behind the mog and usher.
