     brides bouquet to honor mother

My mother passed away 6 years ago and it is bothering so much that she will not be there for my wedding. I was thinking of having a memorial candle for all the people we have lost, but I also want to put one single white rose in the middle of my red rose bouquet. Would that be tacky.

I am sorry for your loss and understand how you feel since my mother also passed when I was a teen and was not present at my wedding.

Adding the red rose to your bouquet would be a lovely tribute to your relationship with your mother.
