food for wedding party before ceremony

The wedding party needs to be at the church at 11:00 am, for pictures. The ceremony starts at 2:00 pm. With the female in the wedding hair appointments are at 8:00 am. Is it proper to have cold cuts and buns, fresh veggies.. etc (nothing to stain clothing) at the church for (by then) starving wedding party?? dinner isnt until 5pm Help please

Dear Esined,

That is an excellent idea, as everyone will be hungry.

Best wishes,

This is a great idea! Word of caution: avoid garlic and onions (obviously). Also, citrus can bloat some people and strawberries/blueberries may leave a stain.
