how to seat wedding guests without using the middle aisle

We are having and outdoor wedding for 100 guests. We will be walking down the aisle in white sand. I really don't want the guests walking on it before I do. Is it appropriate to seat them from the outside of the chairs instead of the middle? Thanks

That would be possible for seating guests, but what about your bridal party; the grandparents, parents etc.? It would surely take the special seating honor away from them. Could you have the aisle raked just before you walk down so that it is fresh?

Thank you so much, I did not even think of raking it. Thanks for all your input. It has been so helpful.
