wedding ceremony put off due to military duties

OK, here's my deal...

I'm supposed to get married on June 18. My wife and I were going to move to Germany at the end of the month, where she will be stationed, but she got a change of orders and has to attend a training course here in the states. She has to leave on June 19. She now wants to have a quick little wedding ceremony on June 13 (a Monday) so she can have some time to do name change stuff before she has to leave since she won't have time to do it after the ceremony on the 18th. However, her mother and the pastor are having a fit because they don't think it makes sense to have a ceremony on a monday (with probably just parents) and then another one five days later (for everybody). What do you think? I would love your opinions. Thanks.
