Typically vows are exchanged right before the rings. My website has some sample ceremonies www.religiousweddings.com This might give you a guide as to where I place them in the ceremony. God Bless and best wishes.

I love when couples decide to write their own vows! What can be more beautiful than words that come directly from your heart? Some couples make a personal statement of love to each other, followed by more formal vows. Others state their vows holding each other's hands, gazing into each other's eyes---and then follow with a ring vow. Here is one of my favorites: "With this ring, I give you all that I have and all that I am." Or as you are writing your own vows, you may want to follow with something more traditonal, i.e. "With this ring, I thee wed."

The options are more numerous than your can imagine!

In my book there are vows for every personality and preference.

Blessings!
