Are the bride and groom supposed to give gifts to their parents at the rehearsal dinner or are gifts given only to the wedding party?

Dear Catlady,

These are optional gifts. So, if you wish to give gifts to your parents, which is a wonderful idea, the rehearsal dinner is a wonderful time to present them.

Best wishes,
