     Children at wedding

From the beginning I didn't want children to come to the wedding because they can be a disturbance. We didn't want to put No children on the invitation because there are only a few people who have children and I think it can be tacky. When we addressed the invitations we specifically addressed to the people we wanted to com. Now my fiances brother is offended that he can't bring his 3 year old daughter to an evening wedding and says that if his child can't come he won't come. What do I do now.

You wouldn't mention no children in the wedding invitation anyway. You did this just right.

It's unfortunate that your future brother-in-law will not attend but that is his perogative - just as it is yours to have an adult only wedding. Perhaps your groom can speak to him and convince him to attend.
