Etiquette for Hotel Information prior to Invitation

My fiance and I will be married the weekend of Thanksgiving. Since our invitations have not arrived, we would like to send out hotel information in advance. We are getting married in a small town and hotels fill up fast. What would you suggest? Is it poor etiquette to send a small note to say we do not want to pressure people to come but in the event that they are planning to attend we are sending lodging information in advance due to it being a holiday weekend?

Dear Mrsc,

Normally we would include this information with Save the Dates. But, you are getting close to your date and you are correct that your guests may need time to book their lodging. So, I think your note idea is a very good one. It appears considerate.

Best wishes,
