     Ex singing at wedding

First of all I want to thank you for answering my first question. Here is another concern. My ex-fiance is a great singer. He has offered his congratulations and offered to sing at my wedding for free as a gesture of friendship. While we are friends and he has sung at other family member's weddings ( cousin, brother) I am concerned that his melodies will hit a sour note because I would be the bride. I know the answer should be obvious.. but would it be in poor taste to take him up on this offer?

Consider the feelings of your groom. Put yourself in his place. Would you want an ex of his to be present at your wedding? The two of you would have to agree that his presence would not be uncomfortable.
