     FAQ on website/Adults only

I am ready for the truth. Whatever you suggest, I will do.

Is it tacky to have a FAQ page on my wedding website? Most of the questions are humorous like, "Will we be doing the chicken dance at the reception?", etc. However, one question is not a joke (the whole reason for th FAQ page). The Q&A is as follows: Q: Can I bring my children to the wedding? A: We ask that our wedding ceremony and reception be adult only. Please honor our request for this special day and make any necessary arrangements in advance. Thank you for your understanding.

Is the whole FAQ page in poor taste? Are FAQ's in poor taste even if I drop the one about 'adults only'? Thank you for your time and response.

Dear Javajuli,

Another person had asked this question in the past and I wasn't thrilled. It was mostly because hers mainly focused on the negative and mentioned children a few times. Parents are very protective of their children and often feel entitled to take them everywhere. But, it sounds as if yours will be positive and will gently mention children.

So, I love the idea. In my opinion, it is a cute way of informing your guests of your wishes. So many do not know how to be good guests. This may help them.

Good idea!

No chicken dance? Darn Wink

Best wishes,

Thank you so much for your wisdom. (Also, unfortunately for some, there will be no chicken dance :)
