Father of the groom seriously ill. Should wedding be postponed?

Three weeks until the wedding and FOG is seriously ill, probably will pass on very soon, should the wedding be postponed?

Oh, that is so sad. There is no right or wrong in this situation. You need to do what feels right for you. For this, you must search your hearts. I have seen some families go forward with the wedding because that is what they felt their loved one, in this case, the father of the groom, would have wanted. Others have gone through with the ceremony and postponed the reception. Others postpone the entire wedding. The reality of finances play a part as well. The bride and groom need to be realistic about their mental and emotional states. Given the difficult situation, what would be the best scenario for them?

My prayers,
