     Friends old and new

I have three friends that I want to be my bridesmaids. However, another friend of a friend and I have become good friends and I want to include her in the wedding. My fiance has three groomsmen to match. Is there another way to include her and show my appreciation other than the bridesmaid position? She has already offered to help in all the planning and implementation. Another thing is: we have decided to do away with traditional titles for each person. All of the female attendants are Maids of Honor, and all of his men are Best Men.

Dear Friends old and new,

Since you have 'done away' with titles, why couldn't she just be another maid of honor? Actually, there can be an odd number anyway. Other than adding her to the maids list, she could walk you down the aisle, or any role you wish.

Congratulations on your up-coming wedding.
