     Gift to wedding director

My wedding director is a friend of mine and she will not accept payment for her services. My wedding won't be very large or complex, but I know that she will still put in a great deal of work. I would like to get her a gift certificate but am unsure how much to give. Since I didn't price paying a wedding director I don't know what would be an appropriate amount. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Since your friend is acting on your behalf and refuses payment, a nice sum would be around $100 for a gift certificate. If she is a professional, her fee would be much greater than that, but your gesture would be very much appreciated even though not anticipated.
