Yesterday, the day we were to mail out the invitations, my groom told me that though I am the love of his life and he does not want to be without me, he has serious concerns about marriage and thinks he wants to postpone.
We've talked and talked, and he is visiting a pre-marital counselor today. But on top of feeling helpless and devastated, I don't know what to do about our guests. Although the invites haven't gone out, everyone knows and many have booked their travel plans and are doing so as we speak.
He wants time to think this over, but what do we do about the guests while he "thinks"?
Thank you.

Dear Heather,
Thank goodness he was so honest about this and spoke up now. It is best to postpone if he has any questions about marriage. So, it is best to inform everyone who knows about the wedding about the postponement. If you sent save the dates, send a formal statement to all who received them. If you didn't, inform them anyway you can. This may save your guests money and time.
You must be very upset about this. I'm very sorry. Hopefully someone close and your fiance will help you with this.
