     HELP!!

I have now tried twice to post two questions about handling step parents at my wedding and have twice seen my questions vanish. Am I doing something wrong? My other post made it and was answered. I really need some advice about including my step father in the wedding ceremony during the walking down the aisle/giving of the bride and about the appropriate way to handle the receiving line. I hate to sound bad, but I am getting a little miffed about my question just vanishing from the board. If I am doing something wrong, please let me know.Crazy

Please review the rules you agreed to at signup to figure out why your post is being deleted. We don't really owe you an answer. This may sound harsh but if you want free advice you'll have to do a little work on your end too. Again, please read the rules.

I am sorry, but I did re-read the rules before I posted the second time. I would greatly appreciate the advice, but I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I also don't understand why you would take longer to write no answer rather than just let me know how to do this the right way. Thanks anyway.

You could not have possibly read the rules since you posted two questions in the same post.

Have you ever heard the expression, if you give a man a fish he eats for a day but if you teach a man to fish he eats forever? Well, I am trying to teach you how to use our forum so I don't have to spend tons of time (none of us are paid by the way) editing, moving, correcting member's posts.

Two of the rules are:

Stay on topic: If you are straying off into a new topic, start a new thread for it. Ask only one question per post.

Pick the proper forum: Your question will get answered much quicker if you take a minute and read through the description of each forum and pick the most appropriate forum for your post.

Plus, I think these questions have been answered before so also:

Search First: We have a powerful search system! For the quickest response to your questions search first. If you have too many results, try limiting the date to the last 6 months. If your question has been answered already, your question will be deleted by the moderator.

Search Again: Seriously, there are over 200,000 posts in this forum, chances are your question has been asked and answered a couple of times.

Please respect our time and efforts by really reading the rules and using our spell check right on the forum pages.
