     How to uninvite guest?

We sent a save the date card to someone who was to be invited to the wedding. She has since had a major falling out with the mother of the bride. How do we inform her that she is not welcome at our wedding?

Dear Pourhouse,

This is normally not done, as it is considered impolite. But, if this person has been verbally abusive or you feel she/he will cause a problem for the rest of your guests, you may have to verbally inform him/her that it is best not to attend and why. There are no short cuts or easy way around speaking to this person directly.

Best wishes,
