     Need Help!

When 4 of us travel by air 3,000 miles to a wedding
and give gifts to the couple...how long should we wait
to receive a simple thank you? It's been over 5 weeks now!fmgambetta@earthlink.net

Many misinformed brides and grooms think they have up to a year to thank their guests but proper etiquette states that a gift should be recognized with a personal note of thanks as soon as the gift is received. You might want to give them just a bit more time since they are probably getting home from the honeymoon and getting settled.
