My husband and I planned and hosted a fairly small wedding last summer (46 people), and so we had to leave some friends out. One girlfriend moved to the other side of the country a few years prior to our engagement and I felt we had drifted apart. So, she didn't make the list. However in hindsight, she formed and is still part of a close knit group of my girlfriends and she was the only one out of that group not invited. Though it seemed appropriate at the time (she has always been great to me since when we see each other, not indicating any resentment) now I really regret not inviting her. How can I communicate this without offending her further? Is it too late?
Married, with guilt.

I would just leave it alone. She doesn't seem bothered by it so maybe you shouldn't either. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

I completely agree. Plus, there is no reason to feel guilty. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
