     No father/daughter dance alone

The other issue we were having was whether or not I had to eliminate the father-daughter dance because my family is highly dysfunctional. Would it be tacky if after our first dance we invited all of the "important people" to come and dance with us? That way my husband and I dance together, my mom and step-father (who still get along great) dance together, my grandparents, biological father and step-mother and my fiance's mother and brother (because he doesn't know his father) all get acknowledged. I figure that way I'm not hurting anyone's feelings but I just want to make sure it would be appropriate.

Consider having a "family dance" where all family members and their partners join you on the dance floor. Choose a song like Elton John's "Blessed" or Leann Womack's "I hope You Dance" or Because you Loved Me by Celine Dion.

More wedding music suggestions.
