     Not a traditional rehearsal dinner

We have a lodge rented in a park by a lake. It is for Fri and Sat. night. We are all going out to the lodge on Fri night to decorate, so as the MOG I thought we would make it simple, having pulled pork sandwiches and salad. The bride has informed me that some of her family doesn't like pork and could we do something different. She has also invited every out of town guest that will be in town for the wedding on Saturday. So there will be at least 50 people there. I am getting stressed, how do you please everyone food wise?

Thanks Jenn

Hi Jenn -

It has been said that you can't please everyone and to a certain extent that is true. However, you'll try to please the majority. Try serving your pork along with a chicken dish and then offer a selection of vegetables, a pasta and some bread. That will offer a selection of foods for many tastes, even vegetarians. It all depends on the ages and tastes of your guests.
