Proper way to handle relative with special needs child

My sister in law has an autistic son. He is 15,very large, very strong and hard to control. He does not verbalize well and gets frustrated very easily. He does sudden loud outburst and can be very disruptive. My daughters wedding will be outdoors with many steps! I can just see him running up and down yelling uncontrollably or making loud sound during the ceremony. He also eats too much too fast and always throws up. Ive seen him do it at two other weddings. He is my nephew and everyone in the family loves him but I dont want him at the wedding. My husbands family is very sensitive about this child. What can I do? Please help!!!

Dear Hdeshotoels,

It is best for the person directly related to her to speak to her about this. A wedding can be overly stimulating to a person with autism. So, it isn't unreasonable to avoid inviting him.

Best wishes,
