I am working on a list for my fiancee's mother with the people I would like to invite to the rehersal dinner. I believe I am to invite close family (very short list), readers, attendants and the minister. If I am wrong about any of these please let me know.
But I am not sure about the director and the musician who will be there that night. Do I invite them and if so, should we include a guest for them?
Thank you for your help on this and for the other posts I have had. This is a very helpful service!

Re: [secondtimebride] Who is invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Thank you for your appreciation. It is our pleasure to help.
You should invite everyone included in the wedding ceremony (ushers, bridesmaids, bestman, maid of honor, flowergirl, ring bearer, officiate, etc.) Spouses or dates of all adult attendants should be invited. Parents, grandparents and siblings of the bride and groom should be invited. If children are involved in the wedding, the children and their parents should be invited. If there are out of town guests staying over it is considerate to invite these people as well.
It is not necessary to invite the musicians or soloist but , of course, you could if you woud like to. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
