Send Invites to small wedding if there will be no reception?

Can't financially swing a reception, so we're going out to a nice dinner.

Should we even send out invitations? We're only inviting work friends, a few of her school friends, and family. Probably be 90-120 invitations if we do send.

How do we word it that there is no reception, and that dinner afterwards is dutch treat? Is this tacky?

HELP!

Dear Send Invites,

Yes, you would send invitations to all that you wish to invite to your wedding. Simply send invitations to the wedding only.

Please do not expect your guests to pay for your reception by inviting them to a dutch treat at a restaurant. Yes, that is tacky. Sorry.

Sincerely,
Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
