     Thank you notes

Blush I was married last year July 2003. While I was recently cleaning out a closet I found a box containing "Thank You" cards that I forgot to send to people!!! What should I do, since it's almost a year later??? Is it still proper to send the cards out??

Dear Blushing,

Yes, it is appropriate and would be appreciated. You might want to add a small apology. We are all forgetful at times, so don't beat yourself up about this. It is never too late to acknowledge people--no matter what the "rule" is.

Thank you for your question.
