We wanted to invite several people from my fiancee's office. These are people that we/I have spent time outside of work with...people that I really like and would want to come to the wedding. Now there are several new people in the office, and my fiancee wants to invite everyone. We are having a smallish wedding (66 so far) and I don't want to have people at the reception who aren't close with us; people that I don't know personally. So, do we extend invites to everyone, or just the people that we are closer with. He thinks that it will hurt people's feelings, but I want it to be intimate and familiar. Help!

Dear Amanda,
Don't worry. You only have to invite those with whom you are close. This is very common.
