Who and when to send wedding announcements

My 24 yr old daughter very recently wed in Las Vegas with no family members in attendence.Unsure

Who should send the announcements-Her father and I or her? If we do, do we include her out of state address or ours on outside of envelope?

To whom do we send them?

She lives out of state away from all family... can we have a reception/celebration with family and friends for her and her husband and how soon should we have it before it is considered to long to be done

Dear Wedding Announcements,

Your daughter should send the announcements and should have sent them directly after the ceremony. Many times the bride's mother (you) would do this for her, but she would have given them to you to mail.

You and her father could host a reception for her and her new husband, but this would have to be something that they want also. If they want a reception, it could be held at any time, but the sooner the better. Just make sure this is something they want, they can attend, and in the style they desire.

Best wishes,
