Who pays for brunch after wedding?

My fiance and I are planning a Saturday wedding and plan to leave for our honeymoon the following Monday. We will be having several OOT guests on both sides and are contemplating a "send-off brunch" if you will, for the Sunday after our wedding. Our parents are very traditional and are following etiquette pretty closely as far as the division of costs. I am having trouble finding information on who should host such an event...any suggestions?
Thanks!

Dear Allynne,

There is no etiquette rule for this, as the old traditional etiquette rules for who pays are outdated and not relevant. Today the couple is financially responsible for all costs. So, it could be hosted by you.

Best wishes,
