asking my hair dresser to my wedding

I want my hair dresser with me for the entire day of my wedding to a) keep my hair in line, and b) be a guest and enjoy herself. Virginia has been my hair dresser for 10 years and knows me better than a lot of people! I want to hire her as my hair dresser for the day but I also want to make sure she knows that I'd like her to do double duty as a guest and enjoy the festivities. What's the best way to ask? Is this unconventional? Is it weird to want a hair dresser "on call" all day?

Thanks!

Dear Loves Her Hairdresser,

I doubt that this is the first time someone has asked this of her hairdresser as we always want to look our best on our wedding day. Why not just verbally ask her? Just ask her using the same verbiage you used here. Of course you would have to send her a formal invitation also.

Best wishes,
