Does the couple wish to repeat the ceremony, just the reception or both?

They want the whole celebration.Want family and friends to share in their happiness and memories. No one was at elopement.Groom wanted security for new bride and her child (not his,but he adores).Neither married before.Old high school sweethearts.

How wonderful! I can certainly see why you would want to celebrate that marriage.

If they were married by a justice of the peace first then they can be married in the church this time since most religions do not recognize marriages performed civilly. If they were married the first time by a member of the clergy then they could do a renewal of their wedding vows. The ceremony can be performed by anyone who is willing; they do not have to be an official member of the clergy.

The wedding reception can be as large and elaborate or as small and simple as you/they like. The only real "no-no" for this bride would be a wedding veil and train since she already has a child.

Please extend our thanks to the groom for helping to defend our country and wish the couple a long and happy married life.
