I work for my ex brother in law. My sister divorced him this past year. There is another woman that works for him also, we have worked together for eighteen years and she invited me to her daughters' weddings. My sister does not want my brother in law to come to the wedding. If I don't invite him can I still invite my co-worker, or should I stick to inviting both of them or neither of them.
I would invite your long time friend. As far as your boss/ex-brother in law, unless your heart is set on having him at the wedding, adhere to your sister's wishes. Nancy Tucker President of Weddings Beautiful US http://www.weddingsbeautiful.com
I WOULD FEEL BADLY, NOT INVITING MY EX BROTHER IN LAW AND INVITING MY CO WORKER WOULD MAKE IT EVEN WORSE, SHE AND I HAVE NOT HAD A RELATIONSHIP OUTSIDE OF WORK OTHER THAN HER INVITING ME TO SHOWERS AND WEDDINGS, DOES THIS CHANGE YOUR RESPONSE.
You don't have to invite the people you work with unless they are your close friends. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
