my children in wedding but not inviting other children

This is my first wedding and my fiance and I have children together. I want them and only them to be in the wedding party and have a sitter lined up to take care of them all day and take them home after dinner. Is it improper to not invite other peoples children since mine will be there for a little while. Or will it be OK since they are in the wedding party. Also, how do I correctly address an invitation to a couple with children when the children are not invited. Thank you.
