I would like to know if the bride's dress color has to match the centerpieces, (flowers & candles) linens and favors?
I will be getting married in October. I would like to have a fall theme wedding, therefore, I bought personalized presents, labels and ribbon with the autumn theme (with leaves fallen) . My linen, napkins and chairs covers are beige, (very elegant). I will have fresh white and reddish flowers. My dress is off white with black ribbon (very simple dress.)
I need your advice. I could still change the linen, or the flowers. Should I buy another dress? Thank you

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! The bridesmaids' dresses do not necessarily have to match the linen and centerpieces, rather to compliment them. The most popular colors for bridesmaids dresses for the Fall wedding are: bronze, brown, chocolate brown, taupe. These dresses sometimes come with contrasting sash in the colors that compliment your flowers - burnt orange, peach; champagne. You can also use wine color dresses with champagne or taupe sashes - very elegant. So as you can see, you have a lot of options. I suggest you page through some top bridal magazines for more ideas, especially the ones that show a lot of real weddings - you will see what other wedding parties are wearing. Fall/Winter issues of bridal magazines are in the newsstands right now! Enjoy the wedding! Dear Montero, it is not necessary to buy another dress. As long as your flowers and decor compliment your dress, there should be no issue. If you are concerned about anything, I would think that you could change the black ribbon to match your fall theme. Nancy Tucker President of Weddings Beautiful US http://www.weddingsbeautiful.com
