wording postponement after sending save-the-date cards

My fiance and I sent save-the-date cards out in July 2008 for our wedding in Jamaica in May 2009. However, he is in the Navy and his deployement date got pushed back, and he will now be over seas in May 2009. Since I already sent save-the-dates, how do I word a postponement to let everyone know it will be a later date, that is not yet set, due to not knowing when he will return?

Dear Litoles,

You would treat this the same as any situation where a wedding has been delayed. Send notes to each guest stating that the wedding has been delayed and the new date is unknown at the present time. It is your choice to include additional information.

Best wishes,
