     Wedding table centerpieces & bouquets

Hello,

I am making the flower arrangements for my daughter's wedding in July. We'll use silk for the table centerpieces and fresh for the bridal and bridesmaid's bouquets. Her main color is burnt orange and she'd like to incorporate calla lilies into all the arrangements. Any suggestions on what might look and work best together and also would cream or white be a better choice for the tablecloths?

I appreciate any advice!

Thank you, Mary Jo

Smile The fresh calla lilies come in a color called mango that I think you might like. Those mixed with some other ivory blooms would be quite outstanding. To lighten up and brighten up the look for a July wedding you might consider adding a touch of lavender blue filler or accents for a little punch.

Finding really nice silk calla lilies might take a little searching. I would suggest you get working on that early. Beargrass and small lavender like silks might be a good thing to use together in the centerpieces.

I think for July I would still stick with a white linen but that is really a decision that should be based on the feeling of the reception room. I tend to want to keep colors pure and bright until a bit closer to fall. That decision should probably be made when you get the look of the centerpieces into place. Will the silks you use be fresh looking or a bit burnished? Use white for fresh and ivory for burnished.

Have fun and good luck!!!!
