I love stargazer lillies but don't know what flowers to put with them for my bouquet and decorations. I want roses but am not sure what else to add. I don't know what colors to go with for my wedding because of the lillies. I think that only pink or red could go whith them. Am I playing it to safe? Any suggestions? I am having an April garden wedding.

Stargazers are really quite easy to work with. Pink or Ivory roses are an obvious and great pairing. You can certainly get away with a little more color. If you look closely at the lily you will see that they have soft yellow centers, green stamens and orange and brown dots. How about some butter yellow tulips, pink to orangish bicolor alstromeria, green hydrangea or vibirnum and a few loops of brown curly willow branches? Free up your imagination and go for it with the spring look. I think you should look into celery green , buttercream or rasberry as potential color schemes...(brown is pretty too but I am in a springy mood today!!!!) The lilies are your wings, not your anchor! Have some fun! It will be georgeous! Sue of Hobart's Fine Florals http://www.hobartsfineflorals.com
