I am having a beach wedding in Punta Cana in May0/06. I would like some suggestions for coordinating colours for bridal bouquets. The bridesmaids will be wearing champagne colour satin dresses,. I will be in white and the men will be wearing darker champagne dress shirts with black pants. Should I have a white bouquet or coordinating colours with the bridesmaids? My ideal is to have all white cala lillies but I wonder if I should add some colour.

Your flowers should reflect your personality as well as the venue. Calla lilies sound great. Whether or not you want to add some color is a personal decision. There are no rules. Consider the personality of you and your husband-to-be as a couple... the type of ceremony, mood or formality level of the reception. The answer needs to come from you. On a more pracitcal bent...I can suggest that there are lots of great textural elements like leaves and grasses that can be used to add some pop -- with or without adding a color. Good luck. Take some time and come to a personal decision that will make you happy!!!! Sue of Hobart's Fine Florals http://www.hobartsfineflorals.com
