Different corsage for MOB than other mothers.

Different corsage for MOB than other mothers.

I was wondering if it is okay to give my mother a different corsage from the MOG and groom's stepmother. My parents are paying for the wedding and, in effort to save money, my mother is making the floral arrangements. I don't feel right having her make her own and I would also like to acknowledge my gratitude.

Thank you,

tinamariv

Dear Tinamariv,

While I applaud your focus, it may be a slight bit insulting to the other mothers. Plus, it might make your mother feel awkward that she is singled out for the special gift.

You might want to gift her privately with something else. A girls only day out perhaps??

Bravo on including the stepmother! Steps have been getting the sour end of the lollypop for years. This is good to hear.

Best wishes,
