I am getting married in a destination and have told everyone to dress casual in whatever they want. I think most people are going to be in VERY lightweight clothing (khakis/linen/etc.) Do I need to get the fathers boutonnieres? I dont even know if their clothes will be strong enough to hold one. I am not having anyone walk me down an aisle - there isnt one. And, it is only parents and siblings attending. I am getting wrist coursages for the mothers for the same reason. Is this acceptable?

Dear Lola,
You could ask them if they want to wear one. But, typically you would. They are still fathers whether or not they participate. And, since this is casual, these could be any type of flower. You could even make them.
