Does anyone know what kind of flowers may go with lillies in the bridal boquets and bridesmaids?

My daughter just told me recently that her theme is lillies I was wondering if anyone maybe be able to give some advice on what type of flower might go with the lillies as I would find it rather plain as just a bouquet for all the bridal party.

For a simple, but elegant bouquet have the calla lilly mixed with various green such as bear grass, ivy (for cascading bouquets) or lemon leaves; tied with a white sating ribbon. This wil showcase the beautiful flower.

There are New Zealand Calla Lillies that are smaller and come in a variety of colors.

I've seen cala lillies mixed with:

Stephanotis

Tea Roses

Roses

It's really a matter of personal preference.

Do a search on Google and find pictures of bouquets using this flower to see what you like. Do include your daighter in the process to be sure she likes your choices.

[:)Hi lily person...Did you mean calla lily or oriental lily...they are very different. An oriental lilynis big and has a very heavy scent and can be sort of harder to arrange.. I would suggest fairly large blooms to work in. Maybe an open rose or lisianthus. Don't get too fussy if it is a true lily...they stand well on their own...maybe just lemon leaf woven through ...If you want some color they are also really nice with Hydrangea to support the heads. As for callas...just look in all the bridal books for ideas they are everywhere...Good luck and be happy ]
