     Does the groom pay for wedding flowers?

Does the groom usually pay for the wedding flowers? If so, does he pay for all or part of the flowers?

Dear Brookheart:

Traditionally, the Bride pays for floral arrangements for:

The ceremony and reception;

Bouquets and corsages for bridesmaids and flower girls

And, the Groom for:

The Bride's bouquet;

Boutonnieres for the men in the wedding party;

Corsages for mothers and grandmothers

Now, it is more the norm to share wedding expenses between the Bride, Groom and their families.

Dear Who Pays,

These days the couple pays for more of the costs and parents will help if they are willing and can afford it. So, the traditional list of who pays really is only a guideline.

Having said that, traditionally the groom or groom's family would only pay for the bride's bouquet, boutonnieres for the men, and corsages for the mothers and grandmothers.

This is old tradition. Today we share.

Best wishes,

SmileYou already got the proper answers..I will say as a florist most of the time the brides family pays for everything. On several occassions the grooms family has offered as well and I believe it is a kind and appropriate offer. So I guess the real answer is as much as he will come up with!CoolCoolCoolgood luck and be happy...
