I'm planning a July wedding and intend to decorate using navy blue and white. I plan to also use butter yellow and maybe a little lilac purple. Can you please give me ideas about what types of flowers I could have that will match my color scheme? I am also open to alternate color suggestions, although blue will be the most likely color for the bridesmaids dresses.

For the navy blue I would suggest delphinium or monkshood. You could use filler flowers such as blue butterfly asters for the lavender blue tones and Sunflowers or daisies for the yellow. Roses are also always a good bet and in full season at that time. Spray roses could help give you a variety or shapes. In terms of flowers that are not the usual suspects you might look into Asters, Agapanthus, sunflowers, hydrangea, eryngium, freesia and lisianthus.
