Flowers and bridal bouquets for outdoor wedding in October

Hello.

My wedding ceremony is taking place outdoors on a lake in October (New York). I am looking for some flower ideas for the ceremony that are rich in color but not too costly (planters?), along with alternatives to flower bouquets for my 2 bridesmaids and flower centerpiece alternatives. Something different, yet charming. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

SmileHmmmmAngelic...I'll just toss some options at you. Berried branches, fall wildflower seed pods and grasses, A pair of big beautiful Sunflowers tied together, Buckets filled with nearly but not quite bare branches, Bowls of fall fruit like pears apples grapes and gords, Ivy plants with branches tucked into the top, various clear glass containers with floating flower heads ( dahlias are abundant and cheap in fall,) single colorful gerber daisies in colored glass bottles... Really just set your imagination into gear and start looking at everything you see as inspiration.
In October maybe you want to provide some colorful wraps to your bridesmaids and yourself. I had one bride wrap up in their Tartan on the beach last year...Very charming. Good luck and have some fun, along with a beautiful wedding and marriage. WinkWink
